For Nephrotic Syndrome patients, the permeability of the glomerular basement membrane will increase so that lots of protein and certain trace elements and hormones will be lost through urine. As a result, the patient will be lacking in calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron and other elements. So they should supplement them appropriately. Generally speaking, the patient can eat some vegetables, fruits, grains rich in vitamins and trace elements.
