What is the CKD Stage 3?

According to GFR, chronic kidney disease is divided into five stages kidney disease. Compared to the early stage and end stage, a person with Stage 3 CKD is in the middle stage which is characterized with the moderate decline of renal function. More precise, stage 3 kidney disease is further divided into two parts: Stage 3A is 45-59ml/min and Stage 3B is 30-44ml/min.

How does it affect patients’ life?

Due to moderate renal function, a person with stage 3 renal disease is more likely to suffer from some symptoms like high blood pressure, diabetes, swelling, fatigue, itching skin and so on.
